EL CUELEBRE/ THE "CUELEBRE"

El cuélebre es un ser mágico de Asturias y podemos considerarlo un tipo de dragón muy feroz. Tiene el aspecto de una culebra gigantesca con alas parecidas a las de un murciélago. Sus escamas son terriblemente duras, así que solo es vulnerable en los pliegues blandos que se forman en torno a su cuello. Es el guardián de algunas fuentes mágicas y de tesoros increíbles, e incluso a veces custodia a doncellas encantadas. Ataca el ganado y se come a los difuntos en los cementerios.
Hay muchos relatos sobre esta bestia en toda Asturias y muchos son los que afirman que la vieron.
