LIBROS RECOMENDADOS PARA LA NAVIDAD/RECOMMENDED BOOKS FOR CHRISTMAS

Leer cuentos siempre es bonito pero, en Navidad, todo adquiere una magia especial.

Reading stories is always nice but at Christmas, everything is surrounded by a special magic.



Aquí tenéis una lista de cuentos maravillosos para leer durante todo el año, pero especialmente en estas fechas:

"CARTAS A PAPÁ NOEL" DE J.R.R.TOLKIEN

Este libro es magnífico pues incluye una serie de cartas que los hijos de Tolkien recibían de Papá Noel. Lo más bonito de esta edición es que se incluye cada carta con su sobre, siendo todas reproducciones de las originales.

"LETTERS FROM FATHER CHRISTMAS" BY J.R.R.TOLKIEN

This book is great because it includes a series of letters that Tolkien's children received from Father Christmas. The lovely thing about this edition is that it includes every letter with its envelope, which are all reproductions of the originals.







Por supuesto, no puede faltar el clásico de Charles Dickens, "Cuento de Navidad". Recomiendo esta edición ilustrada por Roberto Innocenti, ya que tiene unas ilustraciones maravillosas. Está publicado en la editorial Lumen, S.A.

Of course, you can not miss the Charles Dickens classic "A Christmas Carol". I recommend this edition illustrated by Roberto Innocenti, as it has some wonderful illustrations.



Otro clásico que no puede faltar es "El Cascanueces" de E.T.A.Hoffman, el cuento fantástico en el que se basó Tchaikovsky para su famoso ballet. Esta edición está también ilustrada por Roberto Innocenti.
Mucho antes de que los protagonistas de las "Crónicas de Narnia" viajaran hasta allí a través de un armario mágico, Marie, la heroína de "El Cascanueces", ya se sirvió de un armario para llegar hasta el Reino de los Muñecos, cuya capital es Dulcilandia. Increíble ¿verdad?

Another classic that can not be miss is "The Nutcracker" by E.T.A.Hoffman, the fantasy story in which Tchaikovsky based his famous ballet. This edition is also illustrated by Roberto Innocenti.

Long before the children of the "Chronicles of Narnia" travelled there through a magical wardrobe, Marie, the heroine of "The Nutcracker" already used a wardrobe to reach the Land of Sweets, whose capital is Confiturembourg. Amazing isn´t it?
